Recipe | Roast Pear and Prosciutto with Fruity EVOO

A simple spring starter featuring our Fruity Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

This Pear & Prosciutto dish is a delicious combo for Spring, made even better with our Fruity Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Great as a starter when friends are over or a slightly fancy snack for the weekend.

Ingredients 

2 organic pears, halved and core removed
1 TBS Allpress Fruity Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 TBS honey, warmed
¼ cup feta, crumbled
4-6 thin slices prosciutto
Fresh thyme to garnish
Salt and pepper

Directions 

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Place the halved and cored pears onto a line baking tray and drizzle with a little Fruity EVOO. 
Into the oven to roast for 20 minutes.

Remove, place the prosciutto into the well of the pear, top with feta, drizzle with the warm honey, and finish with the remaining Fruity EVOO, and thyme.
