Looking for a space to host a private event for up to 40 people? Two of our homes make the perfect location. Each nestled in the privacy of our olive groves, they're comfy and characterful indoors and out, with a natural connection to the grove. The spaces are ideal for secluded weddings, special birthday celebrations and more.

Make our home, your home for your special event

Rangihoua Villa and The Ranch are able to host up to 40 guests for private events. Each home is positioned in the peace and privacy of our sun-soaked island groves, providing the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable private event.  

We limit the number of events we host in our homes so we can offer a more personalised and unique experience for our guests. Our exeprienced team is on-hand pre-event and during set up to ensure you enjoy an exceptional day.  

Each home offers intimate and stylish indoor and outdoor spaces, with private courtyards and spacious interiors to ensure your event is a success whatever the weather. Whilst the connection to the gardens, groves and bush provide the ideal backdrop for ceremonies and photos.  

We partner with a curated list of local chefs, wine partners, planners and photographers who will help make your event beautiful and memorable, and can put you in touch if required.  

A one-off private event fee is applicable, accompanied by a minimum two-night stay, please email for more information and rates.

Each home boasts a range of spaces and facilities to ensure a memorable and successful occassion, including;

Allpress Olive Groves team will provide premium event support and services to enhance your event experience;   

  • Chiller trailer hire for 24 hours – providing additional space to chill food & beverages 
  • Gas BBQ and Green Egg BBQ clean post event  
  • Event rubbish removed post event  
  • Additional deep cleaning for the property post event 
  • Access to our preferred suppliers for food, beverages, planners and much more

Rangihoua Villa

Elevated and expansive, Rangihoua Villa sits above our oldest and most established olive grove. Lush sun-drenched grounds, with views across the Pacific Ocean span 180-degrees, taking in everything from the Coromandel Peninsular to Auckland’s city lights.  

The private courtyard, with outdoor cooking facilities and large fireplace, provide space for up to 40 guests to enjoy cocktails, outdoor feasting and is the ideal backdrop for a wedding with a view. 

 The large in-ground pool enjoys all-day sun, and the poolside cabana (including outdoor bathroom facilities) provides the ideal spot for outdoor dining and canapes.  

Inside the villa there’s a chefs kitchen with butler's pantry, large indoor dining and generous living spaces, awash with New Zealand and European art, ceramics and furniture – both modern and vintage. All enjoy expansive views through the floor to ceiling bi-folds, which provide direct access to the patio, lawn and outdoor dining areas.  

There are plenty of spots for photos in the grove and landscaped gardens, poolside and with stunning sun sets over the Gulf.  

The Ranch

Located on Waiheke’s western edge, The Ranch stands in our sheltered grove shouldered by native bush.  With a pictureesque olive tree lined arrival, this home offers complete peace and privacy. 

The sundrenched courtyard and outdoor pavillion with cooking facilities and large outdoor fireplace, provide space for up to 40 guests to enjoy cocktails, outdoor feasting and makes the ideal location for a small wedding ceremony.  

Inside, every detail invites comfort and connection, with vintage rugs, artwork by New Zealand artists Pat Henly and David Hessel, whilst the chefs kitchen, oversized dining table and standalone bar facility located near the games room, ensures you have the space to host a lunch gathering or an evening celebration.  

The upstairs balaconies provide westward views to the Gulf, reminding you that the ocean is always close by and the sunsets are phenoemal. Combine that with the olive grove, the olive tree lined gravel driveway and the surrounding native bush and you've got the ideal setting for photos that will bring back memoriores of your special event for many years to come.
